Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Cheruthony/Idukki

Idukki : known as the spice garden of Kerala as the district produces exotic spice such as cardomam, black pepper etc. On the way enjoy the Nadukani pavilion view and a pit stop Kulamavu dam. Enjoy the drive through Idukki Reserve forest to reach Cheruthony. Post lunch a short trekking to Microwave Hills, then Cheruthony Dam Boat Cruise followed by Cheruthony Dam visit, Vyshali Cave, famed Hill view park & Idukki Dam. (Cheruthony & Idukki dam will be open to public only on Saturdays, Sundays & other public holidays) Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Transfer to Ramakalmedu & Sight seeing

Sightseeing of Ramakalmedu. Rolling green hills and the fresh mountain air make Ramakalmedu an enchanting retreat. The hill tops also offers a panoramic view of picturesque villages of Bodi and Cumbum on the Eastern slop of the western ghats. Off-road on a 4 x 4 SUV to Ramakalmedu view point, Tortoise rock & Windmill hills.

Day 3

Transfer to Vagamon & Sight seeing

Vagamon hill station is among the few virgin spots on the planet that is a must visit. The grassy hills, velvet lawns and overall mysticism of the place are an absolute uniqueness. Visit Vagamon hills, Thangalpara, Vagamon Kurishumala Church, Pine forests & Murugan Hills. Transfer to Airport / Railway station. Back home with sweet memories of your tour.

    • The total vehicle kilometres are calculated at 125 kms/day. Anything additional will be charged extra at Rs.13/km
    • Expense of personal nature such as tips, laundry, telephones, beverages etc
    • Airfares and Train ticket charges if any
    • Christmas Eve /New year Eve supplement charges if applicable.

Terms & Conditions

  • Given quote is valid for minimum 1 (1 adult) paying person/s only.
  • Confirmations of hotels are subject to availability.
  • Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to unavailability of rooms in mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.
  • Check in time 1400 Hrs and Check out time 1200 Hrs for all hotels
  • Rooms mentioned in Munnar and Thekkady are Non A/C.
  • Vehicle at disposable from 8 AM to 8 PM as per above itinerary. Any additional sightseeing will be charged extra.
  • The food service at respective hotels depends on hotel occupancy. In case of low occupancy, a set menu for a fixed price will be provided by the hotel as per your chosen food plan.
  • All cancellations should be intimated through an email and refund policy will be effective from the date of receipt of this communication. Refund for cancellation is as mentioned below with a minimum cancellation amount of Rs. 1000/- + cancellation/retention charges as per respective hotel/houseboat/vehicle policy.

  • Ramakalmedu

    Ramakkalmedu is a panoramic hill station in Idukki district of Kerala state. The place is noted for its panoramic beauty and numerous windmills. The place stands tall in the Western Ghats at a height of 3,500 ft (1,100 m) above sea level. The ecosystem of the area consists by sporadic bamboo forests and largely of grass land Shola forest type.

    Wind blows at a speed around 35 km/ hour at here throughout the year irrespective of the season reportedly recorded as the maximum in Asia. This is one main reason which makes Ramakkalmedu unique. It is also said to be one of Asia's largest wind blowing area and has the potential to generate higher power generation.
