On your arrival at the Cochin Airport, you will be picked up and driven to Alappuzha(70 KM/ 2 Hrs). Alappuzha is the Venice of the East;It is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnicspot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to theattraction of the beach. Morning after breakfast and drive down to Munnar (165 K.M / 4 ½ Hrs), on the way visiting Cheyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Thegreen Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. Check in your hillresort and after noon at leisure/ you can go to visit Munnar town and nearby places and Overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed with sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (15 km) to view endangered wild goat ' Nilgiri Tahr'.(National Park is Closed From 01st Feb to 15th Apr during breeding season). Visit Tea Museum (03Km) and the Tea factory (Closed on Mondays and Good Friday), Mattupetty Dam (13km) and Kundala Lake (28km). Overnight stay at the hotel. Morning after breakfast checkout from Munnar hotel and proceed to Kochi. Check in hotel and after lunch your itinerary here will include places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church and more. The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach are the must see. A shikara ride in the evening in the panoramic backwaters.
